    Coffee lid replacement
Coffee machine was allowing coffee to pour over the lid and considered replacing the coffee machine. Instead, purchased a new lid from this company. PERFECT:) No more leaking coffee lid.
    Guest - August 28, 2019 Verified Purchase
    Horrible
The new lid does not fit the old carafe correctly therefore when you pour the coffee most of it ends up on your counter and not in your cup. I do not recommend this item. Note: If you remove the old gasket from the lid and let it dry out for several days it shrinks back to form.

Questions & Answers for Thermal Carafe Lid

What is the little plastic dome piece on the top of the thermal carafe? Mine comes off when I pour the coffee. It's about the size of a quarter. Is it supposed to come off?
    Amy asked on 2023-04-21
Hi Amy, Thank you for writing. The dome pushes against the dome on the bottom of the basket with the spring. When engaged with the Basket dome it will release the coffee into the pot. When not engaged it prevents the basket from releasing coffee. We hope this helps!

The rubber gasket on the lid for my pot broke? Can I get just the gasket or do I need the whole lid?
    Arlene asked on 2022-05-06

Need a replacement lid for the dual coffeemaker thermal carafe
Alison for model number SS-20 asked on 2022-04-27
Hello Alison, Thank you for the question. We are sorry, we looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers and contact us back with the updated substitution number. We hope this helps!

, Troubleshooting new lid which leaks

I bought the lid to get the gasket which was all I needed. The new lid was not the same design as the original, or was missing a part that would have prevented it from leaking. I took the gasket off the new lid, put it on the old lid, PERFECT.

    , No tools needed

Simply put the new lid in place no instructions needed. I tested the new lid on my old carafe by running faucet water on top of the new lid and zero problems. I have not yet used it in a normal coffee grind and brew cycle. So, far, the lid arrived as ordered and fit snugly. So far I am hopeful.

The new lid (with the new O-ring) also leaked, so I switched the new O-ring to the old lid, and now everything is is fine. All I really needed was the O-ring, but it wasn't listed separately.
