Product Description ?

This is a Genuine Milwaukee part
It is sold individually
Two tires are needed on the Bandsaw.
If one tire is worn, it is advisable to replace both at the same time.

The purpose of the Blade Pulley Tire is to keep the blade tracking correctly. Over time they will become brittle or stretched out. You then will have the problem of the blade coming off the pulleys or not tracking properly.
The tires simply stretch onto the pulleys. No tear down of any parts is needed.

Very simple repair, one just pulls off old tire and slips on the new.

What made the whole thing easy was getting the needed parts. This was the best web site by far for locating and purchasing parts, I have been in the repair and restoration of automotive, aircraft and anything mechanical my whole life and now retired, I have a very nicely equipped shop that I still do most everything at. I get most everything on line and I have never been more impressed with a business and web site as I have with ereplacementparts.com.
    Thanks, Dave M.

All you need is a screwdriver to replace the guide blocks , unscrew the old ones and screw in the new ones. The tires just stretch on the blade pulleys.

Saw kept ejecting blade, general cosmetic

    Kyle - November 25, 2019
I started with a complete disassembly of m18 compact bandsaw. Cleaned all metal parts with a brass wire wheel, removing all rust and factory lubricants. I used an air nozzle to blast dust out of the crevices then Re surfaced the plastic deck using brass wire wheel at low rpm.
Replacing the brush card was the most difficult task for me. I wasn't paying close enough attention to the brush card orientation and wound up re installing in reverse, the site schematics were very vague and blurry for this part, it seemed to fit perfectly. (Turns out band saws will operate in a reverse order if the polarity is altered.) After a quick re re installation of service armature, field, and brush card I re assembled using new and refurbished parts, applied quality bearing assembly lubricants and nuclear grade anti sieze. I then polished aluminum gearcase with brass wire wheel. Since paint of Milwaukee emblems were removed, I added custom black paint for the once red factory logos, added the owners company logos, as well as my insignia. The resto was a success and customer was very satisfied with the performance and aesthetics.
