Removed the rear housing and noted where all of the parts were located. Disconnected the cord from the switch .Slid the cord protector on the new cord. Connected the new cord to the switch. Made sure all the parts were in their place and screwed the housing together.

Worn out pads on palm sanders, bad cords on angle grinders

Took screws out of sander pads and replaced. Removed cut cords from angle grinders installed new cords with protectors.

Needed a new cord and relief

Screwdriver, Torx T-20 bit

Remove the rear housing of the grinder. And make a wiring diagram and take a few picture of where the parts inside are located, especially the springs. Remove the cord from the switch. Slide the new cord relief onto the new cord. If want to use terminals on the cord you can get those locally, the cord does not come with them. Attach the cord the the switch. Make sure all of the parts are in the correct place, then put the rear housing back on.
