Product Description ?

This authentic OEM supplied replacement carburetor is designed for gas trimmers and blowers. Its function is to supply a mixture of air and fuel to the engine. This carburetor has a metal body and a plastic lever. When replacing carburetor it is recommended to replace gaskets (sold separately) to ensure top performance.

To complete this repair you would need a hex key/allen wrench.

• Remove air box cover, filter and the base
• Disconnect fuel lines and remove old carburetor
• Install new carburetor and re-connect fuel lines
• Re-assemble and test the unit

    The part was preset and didn't have a fuel mixer adjustment screw.Not all fuels are equal so presetting the mixer is not good especially if you get the 40:1 already premixed vs. mixing it yourself.

    Remove bolts from carburetor
    Remove carburetor and gasket
    Clean all surfaces
    Install in reverse order

    1. Pulled the plastic off by removing all visible screws.
    2. Remove the air filter and the metal plate on top of the carburetor.
    3. Remove the throttle cable and the fuel line.
    4. Remove the carburetor mounting screws, then, the carburetor.
    5. Reassembled the unit by following steps in reverse order.
    6. Set the base setting on the carburetor, then, started the unit.
    7. Once the engine reached operating temperature carburetor was tuned.
