Kohler engine on my Lincoln welder had a bent push rod, so I decided to replace all of the push rods and lifters!

With a pair of pliers, I removed the fuel lines from the fuel pump and then with a 10mm socket, I removed one valve cover at a time! Once the valve covers were off, I used the same 10mm socket to remove the rocker arms, so that I could remove the push rods and lifters! Replaced with the new parts and re-assembled both sides in reverse order! Welder is running like a top again! No special tools required, just be sure you know torque specs for your particular job!
