Product Description ?

This authentic manufacturer-sourced gasket kit is made for use with Kohler engines commonly installed on a variety of lawn and garden equipment. The parts in this kit are utilized to ensure a tight fit between the cylinder and the cylinder head. Over time gaskets may wear out and begin to crack eventually requiring replacements. For the exact locations and the correct installation of the new components, please refer to the appropriate diagrams of your model. This high-quality kit includes the head gasket, the intake port o-rings, the muffler gaskets, the intake manifold gaskets, the head bolt washers, the head bolt nuts and the installation instructions. You will need a wrench set to take the engine apart when performing this repair.

Replacing the head gaskets on the Kohler two cylinder engine is a relatively easy procedure. The most time consuming part is removing the cowling, intake manifold and fuel system to get access to the heads. The torque specs are all given in inch pounds and must be converted to foot pounds or use a metric wrench.
