This item is an authentic Makita replacement part that is OEM sourced to be used with miter saws. The metal guide fence attaches to the table and is used to support material to make accurate cuts. This item requires a hex driver to install. It is recommended to use a t-square to make sure the fence is at a 90º angle from the blade before tightening the fence down. This item is available as an individual replacement part.

Perfect fit
The parts I ordered were all “genuine” Makita parts. Every piece was a perfect fit. Ereplacement is the bomb! Right lower fence was bent cause inaccurate cuts

Well I replaced the fence guide and left lower fence and right lower fence then squared every thing up and checked my 45 degree angles and it cuts like a new saw now also my laser guide line is even more accurate after miner adjustment I’m very pleased with my miter saw it’s one of the most important tools in my shop

Removed old fence assembly, installed all new parts, pins, steel balls and set screws, were all missing. Lower fence was bent, replaced with new, Installed all new parts to guide fence. Reinstalled on miter saw with (4) new M8x25 bolts.....

Remove the guide plate
Remove the bent fence
Install the new fence
Install the guide plate
Install the new right upper fence
Remove the screws from the old kerf boards and remove them
Install the new kerf boards with the screws
Square the new fence to the blade
