This gasket is used to provide an air-tight seal for the breather assembly. Over time the material may get compressed and cracked eventually requiring a replacement to maintain a proper seal. 1. Removed the engine cover fan assembly.
2. Removed the flywheel.
3. Cleaned oil and dirt from the stator.
4. Removed the crankcase breather cover.
5. Replaced and reassembled.
