    Remove the hub caps from the wheels. Remove the wheel nuts and washers from the axle. Remove the old wheels and put a little lube on the axle. Slide the new wheels on. Then install the washers, wheel nuts and hub caps. Remove the bolt and nut from the drive control. Remove the other end from the governor. Install the new drive control in reverse order. Remove the blade and all the shrouds in the way of the belt. Remove the belt cover in the front of the mower. Install the belt on the crank shaft pulley, then the pulley on the transmission. You should be able to move the transmission backwards a little bit to aid in the installation of the belt. Install the shrouds, blade and belt cover.

    Lawn mower power drive cable broke

    1. Removed drive belt cover on mower deck.
    2. Removed cable from drive mechanism.
    3. Removed power drive controller from mower handle.
    4. Installed new cable onto drive mechanism.
    5. Installed drive belt cover on mower deck.
    6. Installed power drive controller on mower handle.
    7. Started mower, power drive worked like new.
