This replacement wheel and tire assembly is used on Murray lawn mowers. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer and it is sold individually. This wheel helps to support and move mower. This assembly consists of a plastic rim and a plastic tire.

This is a simple and quick repair that should only require a wrench.

• Remove the hub cap and the locknut
• Replace the old wheel with the new one
• Secure it with a nut and a hub cap

    Removed the nut from the wheels , then slipped the old wheels off. I then placed the new wheels on the shaft and tightened the nut.

    Simply remove the nut holding each tire on, swap out the tires and secure the nut. Easiest repair possible :)

    1. Removed hub cap.
    2. Removed wheel nut and washer.
    3. Removed wheel.
    4. Installed new wheel, washer, nut, and hub cap.
    5. Repeated for all four wheels.

    Worn drive wheels, drive control not working, needed new

    Remove the hub caps from the wheels. Remove the wheel nuts and washers from the axle. Remove the old wheels and put a little lube on the axle. Slide the new wheels on. Then install the washers, wheel nuts and hub caps. Remove the bolt and nut from the drive control. Remove the other end from the governor. Install the new drive control in reverse order. Remove the blade and all the shrouds in the way of the belt. Remove the belt cover in the front of the mower. Install the belt on the crank shaft pulley, then the pulley on the transmission. You should be able to move the transmission backwards a little bit to aid in the installation of the belt. Install the shrouds, blade and belt cover.
