The bail control bar lets you start the engine when you pull the bail control bar against the handle and kills the engine when you release it. The most common reason for replacing the bail arm is if it is damaged. This part is sold individually. There are no tools needed to replace the bail control bar.

1. There is a cable running from the engine that needs to be pulled to keep the engine running. First step is to thread the S shaped connector on the cable through the control bar.
2. The control bar is exactly fitted to the inside width of the lawnmower handle. Place one side in the hole on the corresponding side, then gently flex the control bar until the other side fits. Really the only thing you could do wrong is install it upside down. It is made to fit against a metal stopping bracket. If you put upside down, just remove it and reverse.
