Product Description ?

This is a high-quality OEM replacement part which is designed for use with Campbell Hausfeld air compressors. Check valve lets the pressurized air flow into the tank and prevents it from flowing back into the pump. Unfortunately, over time it may wear out or even get damaged eventually requiring a replacement to ensure your equipment functions properly. When the check valve is faulty, the compressor will initially function normally until the tank fills with air. At that point, the pump will attempt to restart, but the engine will produce only a humming noise. Similarly, if the tank is already full of air, the engine will produce only the humming noise without actually engaging. When replacing this part make sure to unplug the air compressor and release the air from the tank. It is a metal check valve and is sold individually. You would need a wrench set to disconnect and reconnect lines an perform the repair.

I received my part from you in the time predicted. It was the exact replacement which made it so easy to change. Your price was the best on the internet with some other dealers charging almost 3 times what you did. Will be back when I need parts. Thanks!

The air hose coming from the compressor to the pressure regulator kept blowing a hole in it.

I was told that I needed to replace the check valve located on the tank. I had to remove the copper tube to change the check valve. I did not know that this was a check valve, I thought that it was just a tee for the hose to connect to. The check valve was very tight and I had to put a socket on it with a breaker bar an a cheater pipe to break it loose. It was a fairly simple job.

Unhook air line from compressor unit and check valve on air tank. Then unhook small air line that goes to the pressure switch. Then you can get a socket on the check valve to get it out. Replace everything should be good to go. Mine looks and works like a new compressor
