This is an authentic Yard Man replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The carburetor is found in trimmers from Yard Man and MTD. This kit includes the carburetor with attached primer bulb, two plastic fuel hoses, and two plastic hose connectors. The carburetor is used to mix fuel and air for ignition in the engine. The primer bulb acts as a suction device and will fill with fuel, then force it into the carburetor. You will require a screwdriver when replacing this item. It is advisable when removing multiple parts to keep careful track of their order so they can be reassembled correctly.

I was told not to have it fixed, not worth the cost. Now starts on first or second pull and runs great. Guess worth fixing it on my own.

4 i put a little fel pro gasket on the paper gasket
5. installed the new carb and reinstalled the aircleaner.
6. primed the bulb and pulled the cord twice and it runs like a top.
Only problem is the studs that secure the carb to the block are a speciality tool that is not available. I had to use pliers to remove the studs.
