Product Description ?

This is a genuine Powermate replacement part, it is sold individually.
• Worn brushes frequently are the cause behind a motor running poorly.
• Replacing brushes can fix a motor that’s operating intermittently.
• New brushes can restore a motor’s electric braking.

Carbon brushes are one of the most commonly replaced power tool parts. This is because carbon brushes are wear items, meaning that through friction and use they will gradually wear away until they need replacing. Worn brushes are a common causes of intermittent motor function, reduced electric braking and reduced motor power. A worn-out brush will often be worn down near to the wire lead and can be cracked, pitted, or burned. When replacing carbon brushes, be sure to inspect your armature for burns, cracks, or other damage which can indicate larger motor problems.

I have had no time to install the brushes in my generator Weather and other activities have delayed the task. I am confident the problem will be solved. If not, the equipment becomes a "boat anchor."

    Fast Shipping
Fast Shipping. Can't review the parts because I have to make a custom repair to the housing in which they are inserted. The factory original brushes overheated and melted the housing. Frankenstein may well live on!

Used these guys for a long time.
I'll never use anybody else. Just make sure you double check that the part you order is the part you need. I ordered diodes for my generator but I got two different ones so just make sure you double check your order. Otherwise they are top notch!

When our generator stopped producing electricity we removed the back housing from the generator finding one of the 2 brushes completely wore out. Upon purchasing replacement parts from ereplacementparts.com they were delivered timely as promised. We replaced the brushes, reassembled the generator. The generator now runs perfectly like it was intended to. We are completely happy with our purchase and customer service!

Removed generator rear power cover with #11 socket wrench and #11 box end wrench "4 bolts"
Removed both diodes with small socket wrench and snipped each wire close to diodes solder connection. "Diodes are threaded through bottom of power cover"
Stripped about 1/4 inch from both wire ends and soldered to both new diodes and installed the new diodes back onto the power cover with the original nuts.
While the cover was off added grease to the roller bearing and cleaned the smooth area where the brushes make contact on the exposed armature.
with a small flat blade screwdriver, removed both old brushes at the front side of the power cover and replaced with new ones.
Be sure that (all wires are firmly attached to their connections) and reinstalled the power cover to the generator body.
This has repaired the loss of power production for this Generator.
