  • This was the right part ,
Generator is putting out power like new ,if you replace this part the capacitor is about a half inch longer then the original, it will hit the cover , you will see a burn mark on the cover from the old capacitor, if you cut out the burn the mark it will allow the new capacitor room to stick out , this is not a bad thing it will also allow it to stay cool and not burn out , so this modification is a improvement,

    Repair part
Arrived in great condition. Manufacturer recommended the replacement part. It would not work, but that was no fault of ereplacement. Part was returned and my account credited in a timely manner. Exceptional service. I highly recommend this company!

We asked you site what the problem with the generator could be and you suggested this item, and it solved the problem. Generator running great now. Thank you, Charles Stillwell

    worked as expected
It was not an exact copy of the capacitor was longer and would not allow the generator end cover to fit. I drilled a hole in the cover to allow the capacitor to stick through. Not a perfect repair but now my generator is working.

Removed the cover over the electrical motor and switched the old capacitor with the new. Take your time as to not break any wire connections. If you do break off a connector. Solder the connection back. Make sure the load is disconnected before restarting generator in the future.
