    Back wheels were worn out. 23 years old. New mulch and regular bkade. New air filter. All from normal wear and tear.

    Removed bolt on wheel and replaced with new wheel. Replaced filter. Replaced mulch and regular blade with ratchet and socket. Used 2 x 4 to lock blade while it was loosened.

    Both Cable's we're kinked and needed replacing also replaced blade with new

    Took screw's from drive cover over spring and clutch unhooked spring, pulled spring through cover then replaced spring through cover and hooked back on lever put screws, back in cover threaded cable up the handle and re attached to swing handle.
    Next I installed brake cable making sure cable was on

    Put block of wood in the housing to stop the blade.
    Removed the blade nut, then the blade
    Put the new lade on then tightened the nut
    Removed the air filter cover and the old filter
    Installed the new filter and replace the cover

    Not only did I replace the blade and fan mulching for my Lawn Boy, I also ordered and replaced the motor on my ceiling fan unit without buying the complete unit.     One nut holds both the mulching fan and blade to the lower crankshaft. Remove the nut and install both new parts.
