Questions & Answers

When I start pressure washer water comes out of water outlet tube do i have to replace water outlet kit
Dana for model number 020240
Hi Dana, thank you for your question. The outlet seal seals the connection from the pump to the high-pressure hose, which sends water to the trigger wand. If the outlet seal is broken, you will likely notice water leaking directly from its connection to the hose. If the outlet coupling is cracked or broken, replace the entire coupling. If the coupling is in tact, replacing the o-ring inside of it should fix the problem. Installing a new o-ring is a very simple and cheap repair. It looks like in your case the seal and the outlet come as one part, so replacing this part should solve your issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
Need a new unloader stem kit. Is this it's name or have they changed names? 2200 psi 1, 9 gpm 4.5 hp Briggs & Stanton model 020245-1.
Dave Jeffers for model number 020245-1
Hi Dave, Thank you for your question. No, this would not be the correct part. There is an unloader stem kit listed under your model number. The part number listed for it is 190628GS . I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
Am getting motor oil leak coming by way of air filter housing. Pls recommend actions needed to fix problem.
Hiep for model number Troybilt press washer 020207
Hi Hiep and thank you for the question Oil in the air filter is an indication that there?s a blow-by problem. The first culprit to check is the PCV valve or there may be a hose going from the valve cover to the air filter that will be the culprit. Depending on your engine check these. If there is a PCV valve replace it. If there is a bypass hoss instead, remove it and clean it out or replace it. If this doesn't correct the problem then it could be a more severe internal engine problem such as bad piston rings. You can check the rings by doing a compression test on the cylinder or cylinders. Hope this helps.
Hi . Im not sure if the water outlet is what i want . It does look different fron the one i have now. I need the part that the wand hose connects to under the pressure washer and this allows the water to come into the wand . If this is the one i need how does it connect to the wand hose ? I see its threaded . The end with the plastic coupler looks like it goes on the the outlet but im not sure how to install it on the wand hose ..does this make sense lol . Mine is a 2550 2.3 GPM Ellite series
Linda for model number 126T02-0114-B1 08081158

I have a 3100 psi Troy-Bilt pressure washer it does not build pressure all it does is sit in idle position. What can be my problem
Ed for model number 020678
Hello Ed, thank you for inquiring. You would want to replace the Pump Assembly, but unfortunately for your model it is discontinued and is no longer available. We have no known replacement information in our system. We recommend you contact Troy-Bilt directly to see if they have recently released a new substitute. Please feel free to get back in touch with us to place an order if they provide a substitution part number. Thank you.
The wand. Something is missing inside the brass inlet receiver on my wand as the trigger has no resistance & does not shut off the water. On engine start up with water on I must place my foot on the wand or it will move around as the water flow cannot be shut off. Can you tell me if a ball bearing and maybe a snap ring is missing for water shut off?
Dale Hays for model number 020238-0
Hello Dale, thank you for inquiring. You may need this Inlet Check Kit part number 190592GS for your model. Please see the related parts below. Good luck with your repair!
I have a Troybilt pressure washer 2200. There is a hard rubber piece that I attach my water supply hose to. This piece also screws into the pump (I think). This piece continually blows off at the pump. What piece / part do I need to replace? Thanks, Dennis
Dennis
Hello Dennis, Thank you for the question. Sadly, we do not have any information on the model number you provided. Could you please verify the number you provided us with? If it is correct, I recommend contacting the manufacturer and seeing if they could provide you with a part number, and then you are always welcome to check back to see if we carry the part. Hope this helps!

crack in the water outlet
Very simple repair. My husband had already removed the cracked part, so, he just had to replace it with the new one. It fit right in place. Tested it, no leaks. But, cold weather here now, so it will be next spring or summer before I get to use it!

  • Just what I needed to get my pressure washer back in service.
The part was better than the original. The original was made of aluminum which gaulded at the connections. The new part was brass which will withstand the constant removal and re-installation of the hose. Thanks for the quick shipping and handling of part.
