Questions & Answers

When I start pressure washer water comes out of water outlet tube do i have to replace water outlet kit
Dana for model number 020240
Hi Dana, thank you for your question. The outlet seal seals the connection from the pump to the high-pressure hose, which sends water to the trigger wand. If the outlet seal is broken, you will likely notice water leaking directly from its connection to the hose. If the outlet coupling is cracked or broken, replace the entire coupling. If the coupling is in tact, replacing the o-ring inside of it should fix the problem. Installing a new o-ring is a very simple and cheap repair. It looks like in your case the seal and the outlet come as one part, so replacing this part should solve your issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
Am getting motor oil leak coming by way of air filter housing. Pls recommend actions needed to fix problem.
Hiep for model number Troybilt press washer 020207
Hi Hiep and thank you for the question Oil in the air filter is an indication that there?s a blow-by problem. The first culprit to check is the PCV valve or there may be a hose going from the valve cover to the air filter that will be the culprit. Depending on your engine check these. If there is a PCV valve replace it. If there is a bypass hoss instead, remove it and clean it out or replace it. If this doesn't correct the problem then it could be a more severe internal engine problem such as bad piston rings. You can check the rings by doing a compression test on the cylinder or cylinders. Hope this helps.

crack in the water outlet
Very simple repair. My husband had already removed the cracked part, so, he just had to replace it with the new one. It fit right in place. Tested it, no leaks. But, cold weather here now, so it will be next spring or summer before I get to use it!

    Power Washer Replacement Part
Service was great and fast; part works fine!

    Worked as expected
The part worked perfectly and seemed to be a genuine replacement. One complaint would be the shipping time. I received notification of a shipping label being prepared almost immediately, but did not get notification from the post office that they had received the part until 4 days later. Your web site says, “part usually leaves the warehouse in 1 business day”
