Rear wheel drive pinion and gear on the wheel kept skipping.

Removed the wheel and the pinion and bearing housing. Pressed the new bearing into the new bearing housing and then then pressed in the fiber sleeve into the bearing housing. Install the new bearing housing into the wheel bracket. Installed the pinion spacer washer and then the pinon gear. and installed the snap ring retainer.
Installed new wheel and axle bolt with the new spacer washer. Note: I had just installed a new pinion gear a few days before.
Works ok so far. No pinion gear jumping on the wheel gear. Suspect the bearing and the fiber sleeve for the drive shaft from the transmission was worn causing the skipping problem on my Toro personal pace mower.

This site is organized really well. I found the part I needed for my Toro mulcher and installed it without a hitch. I previously installed a new clutch cable assembly that was a perfect fit.
