    Faucet leaking

    1. Shut off cold water feed
    2. Unhook water feed line under sink
    3. Unscrew and remove handle assembly
    4. Unscrew valve locking nut from under sink
    5. Remove valve assembly from top
    6. Place valve in vise (be careful of threads) and unscrew and remove old valve(may be hard to break due to corrosion)
    7. Put light coating of Vaseline on threads of new valve and screw into valve assembly
    8. Reassemble faucet

    Unscrewed the dripping valves and screwed in the replacements

    Leaked out the top around the stem and caused the internal parts to break.

    Removed the faucet handle assembly. Then removed the valve. Here is where the problem came. Could not break the old valve assembly loose from the faucet as it would turn. Had to find a way to hold the faucet assembly without damaging the threads what the handle assembly screwed onto. Finely wrapped the faucet assembly with enough material that I was able to hold it with some locking pliers while a friend used a heavy wrench to break it loose. After that it was a snap. Should not have taken more than 10 minutes if all had gone well,
