Removed fan from ceiling unit. took home and diagnosed that the fan motor had died. With no airflow the thermostatic fuse to the heating element tripped and the heater coil wasn't working. New fan motor came with a new fan wheel. this wheel was different and had separate sides to the "squirrel cage" to draw air in past the motor to keep it cool. (Probably why the original burned out) Removed fan wheel and then the motor. Installed new and rewired everything. The wiring is the hard part. Because the leads to the motor also go to the heating elements. So everything has to be taken apart and reinstalled. Remember where each part goes and what order and you should be fine. But this is 120 volts so if your not good with electric I would recommend an electrician do the work. Reinstalled and bench tested to see if it worked before putting everything back together in the ceiling. Good luck.
