It was just a matter of unscrewing the spray head off with an adjustable wrench and a towel, and then screwing the new one back on in it's place.

Removed the non working part, easy. Replaced it with the new part, easy peazy. Turned on the H2O and back to the kitchen water. Saved the cost of new faucet and easy repair.

1. Removed the old spray head. Unscrewed by hand.
2. Screwed the replacement part back on.
3. This replacement part was a genuine Kohler replacement part and fit exactly. I had previously ordered this part from another source and it was not genuine and didn't fit properly.
