This is an authentic OEM part from MTD, Yard Machines, Yard-Man and Troy-Bilt for use with Snowblowers. The auger consists of rotating blades that collect snow and throw it from the auger housing and through the chute. The most common reason for replacing the auger is when the auger won’t turn. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the Auger is a 3/8 inch socket, ½ inch socket, wood block, needle-nose pliers and grease pump.
