Spindle lock pin was broken.

This should have been easy. The broken pin had been removed earlier. I had installed the new parts then notice that spring was sticking out of the pin hole. The bottom of the hole was broken out. There was some material left that a small washer would fix this. I used a 6-32 washer, the hole in it matched pin diameter.
Outside diameter of washer was too large. I put screw through the washer with a nut then put it in a drill and use a file to decrease it’s diameter. I tested it’s size as filed the washer to get a tight fit at the bottom of the hole. Worked good.

I went to ereplacementparts.Com and located the make and model of my router I reviewed the parts breakdown to locate the part number's. I ordered a spring just in case the old one tried to get away. Once the parts were in I located a youtube video that walked me through the process which took maybe 10 minutes. I had a few other power tools which required or will require some repair/replacement parts which I added to the order.
