Product Description ?

This replacement shear bolt is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Craftsman snowblowers. The purpose of this hardware is to protect your snowblower. If the auger gets jammed or clogged, the shear bolt is designed to snap at a certain point of pressure, that way it will not damage any other part of the unit. Please note this high-quality component is made of durable metal and is sold individually.

I removed the remaining pieces of the bolts by tapping them out with a screwdriver and hammer, lubricated the shaft, straightened out one of the augers that had a slight bend in it and proceeded to install the new shear bolts and then started the blower to make sure all was working properly, a job well done in a short period of time.
