This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Milwaukee drills, and drivers. The field is a tube lined with magnets. When the the field is charged with electricity it creates a magnetic field. The armature fits inside the field, and is rotated by the magnetic field. The field and the armature are the main parts of an electric motor. It is recommended to check the armature for damage when servicing the field, because damage to the field can cause damage to the armature, or vice versa. The field is sold in a kit of four, the kits are sold individually.
