The pad basically just glued on to my current pad and then had a Velcro side to attach new sanding disc. Worked fine but the description didn’t explain that very well

Unscrewed old pad, screwed on replacement pad and used the self adhesive for heavy sanding and the hook and loop pad to finish. Super easy fix.
