How to convert my Weber Grill from Natural gas to LP ?
Mark asked on 2023-12-28
Hi Mark, Thank you for your question. Weber does not provide conversion kits to change the type of gas used on their grills. We hope this helps!

I followed the printed instructions that came with each package of parts. All it took to do the job was simple tools and a little time. You start by lifting out the charcoal bin and then removing the tabletop (4 screws). With that done all other parts are exposed and easy to get at.

Overall I was quite impressed with the quality of the materials and the step by step instructions. Problems solved!!!!!!!!

I thank "Ereplacement parts" for quality parts and fast service.

1st, I used a pair of pliers to remove the clip holding the hose to the burner tube, don't lose the clip, you'll need to reuse it for the new regulator.
2nd, I removed the two screws holding the regulator and removed it
3rd, Reversed the sequence to install the new regulator
This was a very easy repair.

1. Remove work table (four screws)
2. Removed clip to disconnect gas line from burner (save the clip)
3. Removed two screws holding regulator to frame using nut driver
4. Started and then removed the two self tapping screws to establish threads
5. Installed regulator using the screws and nut driver
6. Connected gas line to burner using clip.
7. Tested for function
8. Re-installed work table.
Note: Connection on hose at burner is right angle necessitating 'S' Bend. Old hose had straight connection. Installed a zip tie to support new hose and eliminate downward twist.

Disconnected gas line from propane tank
Removed old regulator using nut driver to remove two screws
Removed clip holding orifice
Replaced regulator
Replaced clip
Done
If you follow the instructions sent with the part it will take much longer than indicated. The screws holding the regulator can be reached from underneath, you have to work by feel but it isn't difficult using a 1/4 in. nutdriver or socket.
