1. Unhooked the starter pull grip & string from the mower handle.
2. Removed the three nuts holding the recoil stater assembly to the top of the motor.
3. Lifted off the old recoil assembly and installed the new assembly, tightened the three nuts.
4. Hooked the pull grip & string back to the mower handle; pulled & started right up; easy.
