Description:

This authentic component is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer. It is specially designed for use with push lawn mowers. It is an identical replacement for a damaged or a missing rear axle assembly that was installed on a new unit. This is the part that the wheels are attached to. Refer to the diagrams of your model for the exact location and the correct installation of this component. Note, it is made of durable metal and is sold individually. You will need a wrench set and a screwdriver to remove the wheels, disconnect the old axle assembly and attach the new part.

Deck lever broke on rear axle

Removed both wheels with a socket removed the axle with a reverse grip to pry the axle housing open.Install and pushed in the new axle attached both wheels set the deck height and mowed the lawn

Lawn mower wheel adjustment lever fractured from rear wheel axle assembly

Replaced entire rear axle adjustment lever assembly and reinstalled rear wheels. Very easy new part fit perfectly only needed a socket wrench.

The part that lifts the rear tire broke

We watched a youtube video on how to do the repair. My son did the repair. It went very quickly. The part was perfect. It sure was nice to have the mower repaired rather than buying a new mower.

Adjustment arms on axles were broken.

Other then rusted hardware on blade and frozen bolts on wheels job went very easily.

Lawn mower rear wheel height adjustment arm was broken

Remove the wheel cap from both wheels and loosen the bolt with socket/wrench.
Tilt the lawn mower - based on the side manufacturer recommends
Use a flat head screw driver to pry out the existing axel on both sides of mower base
Remove the wheels and put them on the new drive shaft (keep them loose)
Push the new shaft in until it locks in place
Tighten the bolts on both wheels and place wheel cap back
