Description:

It is an identical replacement for a damaged or a missing rear axle assembly that was installed on a new unit. This is the part that the wheels are attached to. Refer to the diagrams of your model for the exact location and the correct installation of this component. Note, it is made of durable metal and is sold individually. You will need a wrench set and a screwdriver to remove the wheels, disconnect the old axle assembly and attach the new part.

what is the length between wheels? this looks similar to mine but mine measures 17inches?

Deck lever broke on rear axle
Removed both wheels with a socket removed the axle with a reverse grip to pry the axle housing open.Install and pushed in the new axle attached both wheels set the deck height and mowed the lawn

Lawn mower wheel adjustment lever fractured from rear wheel axle assembly
Replaced entire rear axle adjustment lever assembly and reinstalled rear wheels. Very easy new part fit perfectly only needed a socket wrench.

The part that lifts the rear tire broke
We watched a youtube video on how to do the repair. My son did the repair. It went very quickly. The part was perfect. It sure was nice to have the mower repaired rather than buying a new mower.

Adjustment arms on axles were broken.
Other then rusted hardware on blade and frozen bolts on wheels job went very easily.

1. Watched 2 excellent YouTube videos from ereplacement parts on removing rear wheels and rear axle
2. Removed rear wheels
3. Removed broken axle
4. Installed replacement axle.
5. Reinstalled wheels

Height adjuster separated from the rear axle.
1. Removed both rear tires with socket wrench.
2. Removed rear axle by spreading plastic holder clips, used wide blade screw driver.
3. Pressed new axel into the plastic holder clips.
4. Reinstalled the rear tires with socket wrench.
5. Set height adjustment to desired cutting height.

Height adjusting lever on rear axel broke off.
Removed hub caps with screwdriver as lever.
Removed both wheels using adjustable wrench or 1/2" open/box end wrench.
Removed axle from each side by squeezing plastic tabs that hold axle in groove. This is best done with two people, one squeezing both tabs on one side then the other side and then by prying axle out of groove with large screw driver or pulling out by hand.
Replace with new axle assembly by snapping it in place.
