This is a genuine part which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer and is used for Craftsman trimmers. The blub is designed to purge the air from the carburetor, which then allows the fuel to come up from the fuel tank and through the fuel line then into the carburetor. This part is made out of plastic and is sold individually. You will need a screw driver to remove components to get to the carburetor and also to release the primer bulb, to install the new one.
