Pole lock would allow upper pole to rotate. Over time cable inside pole will knot up till it fails. This problem is not ereplacement parts doingits in my opinion a manufacture problem.

Removed saw from old pole by removing 4 screws from plate at top of old pole. Fastened saw to new pole plate using 4 ea. Screws that were removed before. Then plugged saw plug into pole plug. Job complete!

Cuff that tightens and keeps the two extension pieces was broken

Put the new cuff beside the old one before taking old of, to see if I had same part
Undo the saw plug from the handle plug, removed four bolts to remove saw from the removable plate, which had held the three pieces together - saw, plate & pole
Removed the broken cuff and put the new cuff in it's place
Put the removable plate back on, keeping the long, green saw trigger depressed under the removable plate and replace same four bolts.
Plug into outlet and pull handle trigger. Be Careful,
