This replacement piston bumper is designed for use on Hitachi nailers. It is a genuine manufacturer sourced part. The purpose of this piston bumper is to keep the piston from hitting the bottom of the cylinder. If the bumper is cracked or missing pieces you can seriously damage the cylinder. Because this part get so much abuse it has a tendency to crack and fall apart. If you see and parts of this bumper falling from your nail gun, it is definitely time to replace it. This includes one (1) plastic piston bumper.
To complete this repair job you should need a screwdriver set.
• Remove the end cover/cap
• Carefully remove the internal components
• Replace the old bumper with a new one
• Reassemble and test the unit

Took out the inner driver wall
Took out driver
Then removed broken bumper
Put back in new bumper make sure bumper is right way it has a bevel to fit on bottom over all it is pretty simple fix gun works like new
