I removed the blade bolt, lock washer and the damaged hardened washer and the blade. I then remove the damaged blade adapter. And installed the new one making sure the key in the adapter lined up with the keyway in the shaft. I placed an extra blade I had on the adapter, then installed the new hardened washer, new lock washer and blade bo lt. The I removed the damaged flangelock hex nuts, and installed them on the 5/16-18 bolts.

Height adjustment bracket was loose and was going to fall off the mower eventually.

I took the height adjustment bracket off the mower and replaced 3 parts. I was not sure which part was defective so I ordered 5 parts and 3 were used to replace the old parts and now it is tight and does not wobble anymore.
