The purpose of a muffler is to soften the noise coming from the engine and provides an additional layer of filtration of exhaust. This metal muffler is designed to meet EPA exhaust regulations. This durable metal assemby is sold individually, please note the composite material gasket is inlcuded in this assembly.

1. Replaced spark plug using a 3/4 spark plug socket.
2. Removed cover using a #25 torx bit and replaced muffler assembly.
3. Replaced spool assembly.

Muffler loosened, destroyed gasket

Removed old muffler, replaced gasket with new one from Replacement Parts as part of gasket/complete muffler kit, installed new muffler. Perfect fit.

1. Loosen two screws.
2. Remove the muffler.
3. Replace with the new muffler.
4. Tighten two screws.
