    Screwdriver, Soldering gun

    Remove the screws from the housing. Be careful when separating the housings. Try to keep all of the parts in one side. I took a few pictures with my phone just in case. Unsolder the leads from the motor and remember where the leads went on the motor. Remove the old motor, then install the new one and solder the leads on the correct terminals. Put it all back together and you're done.

    Both of my Milwaukee tools stared smoking before they stopped working. The winding in the motors burnt up.

    Screwdriver, Power Drill, T10 star head driver, soldering iron

    Remove battery from base of drill. Remove t10 or t9 star screws around cover. Slip off metal clip inside battery compartment.Remove cover being careful not to dislodge components on opposite side. Remove motor and cut red and black wires at old motor terminals.clean ends of wires.connect red wire to motor terminal marked in with red marker and black wire to terminal that is not marked with color with soldering gun. Reconnect motor then chase and place back into compartment and put cover back on.
