This authentic replacement burner is used on Char-Broil grills. The design of this burner bar creates an even cooking area for best cooking results. It is a stainless steel burner and it is sold individually. Please note the electrode is sold separately.
To complete this repair no tools are needed.
• Make sure to disconnect the gas tank
• Disconnect the electrode
• Remove old burner and an electrode
• Secure the new burner with an electrode
• Re-connect and test the grill

Main burners were rusty and falling apart. Big yellow flame and unsafe. The ignition module didn't work. The heat tents were rusted and burned out.

I pulled the knobs off of the front of the flame adjustment valves. I removed the two screws behind each valve. This allowed me to flex the front enough to replace the ignition module. The screws securing the burners were rusted so I drilled them out and replaced them with new screws. Everything else was easy peasy. My six burner grill with side burner works like new. A huge savings over buying a new grill. Ron W.

Carryover tubes and sear burner needed to be replaced

1. Removed the rusted carryover tubes.
2. Replaced the tubes
3. Detached the igniter from the sear burner.
4. Removed the sear burner.
5. Reinserted the sear burner.
6. Reattached the igniter.

With the burner it was simply a matter of removing the ignition module and screwing it onto the new burner. This job took the most time as the two screws were badly rusted and refused to come out. Pliers used on the threaded side broke them free and from there on including the heat tents and grills the job was simply remove, discard and replace.

1. Completely dismantled and removed the complete burner assemblies.
2. Degreased and cleaned the area.
3. Determined what parts I wanted to replace.
4. Researched where to buy them. Found this company - they had all of the parts and, most importantly, WERE AN EXACT REPLACEMENT! And, a little lower in cost than others.
5. Put it all back together.

I used a wire brush to clean up the heads of some of the screwdriver slots on the old rusted parts. Some of the old round-headed bolts with nuts broke when trying to take them out. This was ok because there are more than enough new bolts, nuts, washers, lock washers and screws supplied with the new original replacement parts to do the job even if you drop and lose a few. I used never seize on all the new bolts and screw threads when installing for ease of future parts replacement. I replaced all 5 main burners, 4 carryover tubes, 5 heat tents and one searing burner. All original replacement parts installed easily and fit exactly where they were designed to. I used the old electrodes and had to adjust the distance a little to get a good spark to ignite the gas properly. I ran all the burners wide open for 20 minutes and then let it cool down before cooking on the grill.
