1. Removed engine cover
2. Used nut driver to remove switch lever being careful not to brake metal spring with kill wire attached.
3. Installed new switch lever while carefully reinstalling spring with kill wire.
Note: there is no reason to remove carburetor to perform this repair.
Installation of spike
1. Remove clutch cover, bar and chain.
2. Place spikes on area provided on saw.
3. Drive the short screw into one of the holes provided on the saw. Note: one of the screws provided with the part is not correct for my application(Husqvarna 240)! Had to drill the upper hole location with a drill bit no larger than pilot hole and provide my own short screw.
4. Make spike screws snug. Do not over tighten as you can strip the plastic on the saw!
The saw didn't come with a bucking dog.

2) Remove the bar and chain.
3) Install the spike with the screws provided and tighten.
4) Reattach the bar, chain, and cover, being sure to properly tighten the chain before use

2 . Clean out holes where spikes mount ( air compressor or compressed air in a can works also )
3 . Install spike with supplied Allen screws
4 . Reinstall bar and chain and tighten
5. Enjoy the new installed spike
