The water inlet had snapped off in the water pump housing. About 1" of threads/inlet were left in the housing.

Parts Used
Used the appropriate size drill bit to drill out the housing without damaging any threads. Then used a small flathead screwdriver to pick out the remaining inlet that was left in the threads. The inlet is made of aluminum so it's pretty soft. The drilling and removal of the threads was not difficult. Once all threads were removed I used a shop vac to remove any debris that was left in the housing. Installed the inlet using plumbers tape and an adjustable pair of pliers. No leaking, all good.
