Repair Difficulty:
Easy
Time Spent Repairing:
15-30 minutes
Tools Used:
Socket set, Small hammer
Drive did not engage
Missing woodruff key on axle was purchased from eReplacenents and it fit perfectly - just tap in slot in axle and slide drive gear to engage with key. Re-assembled snowblower and now it runs like new (while waiting for the new key to arrive I changed oil, cleaned spark plug, and cleaned/greased axle bushings). Less than $10 including shipping and I have a snowblower ready for winter!

The original Key popped off and was lost. New key was a better fit
I removed the back panel, took off the right tire, took the washer pin off to get to where the key would fit into place. Placed the key into place, and put everything back together. Works like a champ!!!!
