Quality part, great service and on-time delivery, reasonable price. Flywheel key replaced old key that had sheared. Easy replacement .... remove bolt, then use some WD-40 to spray center of flywheel at shaft and then carefully use a pry bar .... working around bottom of flywheel to loosen flywheel .... and pull upwards

Riding mower wouldn’t start and had backfire coming out from carburetor.

    Tools Used

    Socket set, Flywheel puller

First I removed the four bolts holding the cover on the top of the engine. Second loosened the large nut on top of the flywheel. Third thing I did was remove the two small bolts on the top of the flywheel and screwed in the two long flywheel puller bolts in their place. I tightened the flywheel puller bolts until the flywheel came loose from the shaft. I removed the flywheel puller and took off the large nut that I previously loosened. I pulled off the flywheel and slid out the old damaged key and slid the new key in its place. I lined up the flywheel with the key, replaced the two small flywheel bolts and large bolt. I then reattached the engine cover and screwed the four engine cover bolts back onto the cover. The riding mower turned on easily without any backfire through the carburetor. Problem solved.
