First step drain any fuel in tank by clamping the fuel line coming from tank and drain into a gas can that's empty. 2nd step unclamp the other side of the fuel filter and remove the fuel filter. 3rd step place new fuel filter by reclamping the new fuel filter in place. I always start generator just to make sure I did not put fuel filter backwards.

Replaced shut off valve with difficulty. New valve to large to fit hole in mounting plate. Used drill and small grind stone to enlarge hole then was able to press new valve into old space. The rest was easy. Then used carb cleaner spray to clean carb without removing and disassembling. With very little gas in tank added 8 oz of Mechanic in a Bottle. Got generator started and let run until additive should have been in carb. Shut off to allow time to soak. Next day generator ran 15 minutes without interruption or surging. I am a happy customer. The speed with which I received my order from you was amazing. Next time I need you I will be back.
