This is a genuine OEM sourced part which is designed for use with Briggs and Stratton engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. The purpose of this hose is to deliver the fuel from the fuel tank into the carburetor. When you press the primer bulb, it will purge all the air out of the carburetor and fill its chambers with fuel. The excess fuel is then forced back into the tank through the return line. Over time, lines may wear out and begin to crack eventually requiring a replacement. It includes one durable rubber hose and two metal clamps. Refer to the owners manual and the diagrams of your model for the correct installation of this component. You will need pliers to secure and remove the clamps that secure the hose-primer.
