These are the parts utilized to secure the fuse which is sold separately. One durable plastic cap and a holder are included.     Fuse holder spring won't hold fuse

    Attached black and red wires however the part sent listed as the correct fuse holder for DW788 does not fit this scroll saw, one lead on holder is on the end and one is on the side and they both are so loose they have to be taped on it then does not fit into the hole in the saw, original holder has both wire attachments on the end and fit tightly not having to be taped to keep them on,

    Fuse socket was missing parts

    Screwdriver, Wrench Set, Adjustable Wrench

    1. Remove old socket by pulling it out with pliers. Now realizing I need to get into saw.
    2. Remove all screws from main housing and arm cover.
    3. Remove saw table.
    4. Open casing to reveal circuits.
    5 Insert new socket housing from outside. Press on retaining ring from inside. Secure with hot
    melt glue.
    6 Reattach wires to socket.
    7 Reassemble saw in reverse order as disassembly.

    Replace fuse holder

    Screwdriver, Wrench Set, Star screwdriver

    Removed stars removed from back cover.
    Removed back brace for tilting fable.
    Loosened star screws front of bottom cover.
    Pulled back cover far enough to split apart.

    Replace fuse holder from back to front.
    Replace wires on to fuse holder.
    Put back together in reverse order ensure wires are tucked into cover where required.

    Plugged in the wires to the fuse holder ,had to close up the clips as they were to wide ,installed the fuse & turned on the saw & it worked fine.
