1. Removed old boot to expose bolt holding shoe
2. Removed shoe using a M5 allen hex wrench
3. Cleaned all exposed parts and lubed shaft
4. Installed new shoe using new hardware

Makita sawzall blade came loose cut into the shoe and took a piece off the gear housing cover and tore the insulation cover.

Removed the screws holding the shoe , then I removed the insulation cover. I then removed the screws holding the gear housing cover. I tried removing the screws holding the blade piston hut they were very tight and couldn’t get then out with my Phillips head so I gently and carefully used a vise grip . Removed all the grease and saved it in a pile . Reinstalled everything greased the shaft and slide and tested it out . Worked great . And my old tool , 30 years old , is like new . Awesome ! Thanks to eReplacement I got the right parts . Thanks again
