This D-handle is an authentic OEM replacement part made for Ridgid. This two (2) piece assembly includes both upper and lower handle halves. This ergonomic handle houses trigger, switch, power cord, and bend relief cord protector (all sold separately). This item is sold individually.

    Not the Right Part.
    This is a totally wrong part for my Rigid chop saw. Its not even close. I had to modify the part alot to make it work, and its still not even close. Also due to it being incorrect I now do NOT have a safety switch on it either. Nothing against this site/company though. In researching my handle part no one seems to have the right part. They all show this same handle.............

    Beware of part numbers being wrong
    I purchased this handle and it is the right part number for for my saw and the photo here is the right part but the part I received is not the same. The part i received has a sticker that shows the right part number but it does not fit my saw. I had to pay $14.20 to return it when the error was not mine. Quite unhappy.

    Just unscrew the old one. I took cell phone picture of how the wires were ran inside the handle, then reversed the process to reassemble.

    Handles fell apart on 2 rigid miter saws

    Removed existing handles, wires, trigger assembly and put the new ones in. Had to keep all the old screws because the new handles did not come with them.
    Nothing to it. They look like new.

    Broken D-handle

    1. Removed broken d-handle top, took pic of wiring.
    2. Removed d-handle base.
    3. Installed new d-handle using my pic to rewire the switch.
    4. Test unit

    The plastic that held the D-handle to the saw had broken around two of the screws.

    1. Made sure saw was unplugged.
    2. Removed the 6 screws that hold the top part of the D-Handle on.
    3. Removed power cord bracket and unscrewed wire nut to separate wires.
    4. Removed the power switch and disconnected wires
    5. Removed additional screws that mount to the saw
    6. Pulled the wires from the old bottom portion of the D-handle and removed old D-handle.
    7. Fed wires through the new bottom portion of the D-handle and secured to saw
    8. Reconnected wires to power switch and power cord and installed power switch
    9. Installed power cord bracket
    10. Installed top portion of the D-handle and tightened screws.
