This is an original Broan replacement part manufactured for use with range hoods. The metal grease filter is the first filter, and is visible from the underside of the hood. It is used to trap heavier particulates before they enter the blower, or second filter. The filters slide into place, and are sold individually.

What are the dimensions of this filter. Our existing hood filter measures 11 1/8 x 15 5/8.
