It is secured to at the back of the mower deck to collects grass clippings that that are picked by the unit. Please note this is the fabric bag alone, metal frame that secures it is sold separately.

Nicer than the bag it replaced
Arrived on time, and without fancy packaging. The bag is sturdy, and it's black (not tan) so it not only looks great, it's practical.

Bag for the old mower started to rip on one side from age.

2. Attached the new bag the same way the old one came of a frame that holds the bag.

I looked how the old shutoff cable was hooked up and replace the new one in the same way, worked perfect. Then placed the new grass bag over the grass bag frame.
