Product Description ?

This is a genuine Husqvarna replacement part, it is sold individually.
The Fuel Filter is inside of the fuel tank.
Its purpose is to filter out dirt and other debris from contaminating the carburetor.

It will at sometime become clogged and restrict the fuel getting to the carburetor,and will have to be replaced.

    what is the diameter of the nipple on the fuel filter, the inside diameter of the OEM fuel line is 1/8 inch, will fuel filter fit my saw.Thank you

    1. Removed old spark plug and replaced with new spark plug.
    2. Removed old air filter and replaced with a new air filter
    3. Fished the fuel line from the fuel tank with a wire with a hook on it and removed the old filter and connected the new filter

    1. Removed engine cover.
    2. Removed fuel tank
    3. Replaced fuel line and return line
    4. Put new fuel filter in tank
    5. Replaced tank and cover
    6. Installed new spark plug and air filter started right up

    Trimmer would not stay running

    1. Took pictures before I took it apart.
    2. Removed all the plastic.
    3. Removed the tank.
    4. Replaced the hoses and filter on the tank.
    5. Replaced the fuel primer on the main unit.
    6. Mounted the new hoses to the new carburetor.
    7. Removed the old carburetor.
    8. Installed the new carburetor and gasket to the trimmer.
    9. Reinstalled the tank and all the plastic.
    10. Started the trimmer and made adjustments to the carburetor.
    11. Installed the carburetor stops to the Jets.

    1. Confirmed that the replacement parts were the same.
    2. Removed the old fuel hose and the grommet.
    3. Fished a wire through the new fuel line and then through the tank up to the carburetor. 4. Lubed the integral grommet on the hose with oil
    5. Started the hose through the hole, held it in place, installed the new fuel filter, and pulled the new hose into position.
    6. Hooked the hose to the carburetor and finished putting my saw together. Job done!

    Anti vibe was broken. The saw is 18 yeas old; the rest was to bring the saw up to grade. like new.

    Removed 5 or 6 torx screws, removed fuel lines and old fuel filter. Reinstalled with new parts.

    Watched video for procedure. Very informative and helpful!
    1. Removed top cover and spark plug.
    2. Removed side cover/brake and chain bar.
    3. Inserted piece of rope into combust. chamber.
    4. Removed clutch/drum assy, rim sprocket and support bushing.
    5. Reversed procedure for install.
    6. Replaced fuel filter and air filter.
    7. Adjusted chain, lubed sprocket, started saw, cut wood.

    Removed the old fuel filter, used needle nose pliers. Installed the new filter.
    Removed the old air filter using a screw driver to pop it loose. Proceeded to install new filter. This was a fairly easy job.
