  • Exactly what I needed.
It fit perfect and now my lawn doesn't look like a jungle anymore.

    easy repair for drive cable
Drive cable attached easily. I don't need the throttle cable, as yet—I bought it as a back-up just in case that cable breaks, too. Parts arrive quickly enough given the expected minor delays caused by the Corona Virus (this is true with nearly every vendor I've dealt with these days). I was very pleased with my initial experience with eReplacement Parts.

Take the old one off and put a new one on these cables apparently can rust up after a few years and break... you can just zip tie the stop control open but then you have to use the spark plug pull the spark plug wire to stop the mower not safe but I did do it for one round of mowing before my new cable showed up it's an easy fix and inexpensive it makes for a much safer mower stopped up on the handle where you are pushing and away from the blade especially if you got kids using the mower

Take a picture of the cable layout for reference.
For easy access, remove the cover on top of the mower. Use appropriate socket. Remove the cable hook attached to the top handle area first. Remove the cable attached to the engine area next. You may need to pull the cable using a needle nose plier to give you slack so you can unhook the cable. If it is carbonized like in my case, you may need to cut the wire. Remove the cable sleeve from the engine holder by pinching the plastic clip. Cut the plastic tight that holds the cable to the mower frame. Now replace with the new cable. Use your picture for reference.
